Fort Bliss, TX

Fort Bliss is one of the largest Army installations in the country, stretching from the eastern edge of El Paso deep into southern New Mexico. The main post sits right against the city and the backdrop of the Franklin Mountains, making it easy to travel between base and town. The post serves as headquarters for the 1st Armored Division, known as Old Ironsides, along with major defense commands and the modern William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
