Foxborough, MA

While most people know Foxborough as the home of Gillette Stadium and the New England Patriots, daily life here feels much more like a classic New England small town. Right in the heart of town sits Foxborough Common, a historic green bordered by Town Hall, local eateries, and colonial homes. The community covers about twenty square miles, stretching well beyond the busy commercial strip along Route 1. You will also notice two spellings everywhere you look: the official town government uses Foxborough, while the post office, commuter rail, and many local signs use Foxboro.

Living closer to Route 1 gives you quick access to shopping and the Foxboro MBTA commuter rail station, though you will quickly learn the local back roads to avoid game-day and concert traffic. Further west, the setting turns heavily wooded with larger lots and a quieter, semi-rural vibe. As for everyday utilities, Foxborough provides municipal water, while homeowners typically set up private pickup for trash and recycling. Finding the right fit mostly comes down to balancing your commute, your preference for yard space, and your proximity to the stadium corridor.
