About Francisville

Francisville is a Boone County census-designated place in northern Kentucky, part of the Cincinnati metropolitan area. The area is sometimes called the North Bend because of its position near a bend in the Ohio River. Its community history reaches back to 1819, when members of Bullitsburg Baptist Church organized a closer church for residents in the area. Today Francisville is mostly suburban and semi-rural, with newer housing, river-valley context, and access to jobs and services in Florence, Hebron, and greater Cincinnati.
