Franklin, KY

Franklin is a home rule-class city and the county seat of Simpson County, Kentucky, situated on the Tennessee state line. Incorporated in 1820 and named after Benjamin Franklin, the community of approximately 10,360 is home to the Kentucky Downs horse racing track. Public education is served by the Simpson County School District.
