Frankston, TX

Frankston is an Anderson County town in East Texas, with 395 residents in the 2020 census. U.S. Highway 175 and State Highway 155 meet here, and the town’s name is usually tied to Frankie Miller, who donated land for the downtown park. The railroad pushed Frankston into a wider shipping map in the early twentieth century, leaving a depot and a street grid that still shape the center. The town square still gathers the highway, depot, library, and local civic addresses.

The T. & N.O. depot, built in 1902 on its original site, now houses the Frankston Depot Library and Museum.
