Gamaliel, AR

Gamaliel is a small unincorporated community and census-designated place in Baxter County, Arkansas. It sits along Arkansas Highway 101, south of the Missouri border, on a ridge between local waterways and near the east arm of Norfork Lake. The lake setting is the clearest local feature, tying Gamaliel to boating, fishing, cabins, and Ozark retirement-country geography. It is a residential rural place, but the water nearby gives it more identity than its population suggests.
