Garrett is a city in Keyser Township, DeKalb County, Indiana, situated just west of Auburn and fifteen miles north of Fort Wayne. Platted in 1875 with the extension of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, the community of approximately 6,642 is served by the Garrett-Keyser-Butler Community School Corporation for public primary and secondary education.
