About Gearhart

Gearhart is a coastal city in Clatsop County, Oregon, situated just north of Seaside across the Necanicum River. Named for 1848 pioneer Phillip Gearhart who established a farm on the Clatsop Plains, the residential community of approximately 1,978 is served by the Seaside School District for public primary and secondary education.
