Gibbstown, NJ

Gibbstown is a quiet South Jersey community in Gloucester County's Greenwich Township, set right along the Delaware River. With around 3,800 residents, it has a relaxed, suburban feel, with residential streets spreading inland toward Swedesboro and Clarksboro. The area has notable history, too; it is home to the C.A. Nothnagle Log House, built in the mid-1600s by Finnish settlers and considered one of the oldest standing log cabins in the United States. While the riverfront is largely industrial and tied to local shipping and refinery operations, the surrounding neighborhoods remain calm and residential.
