About Gilberts

Gilberts is a village in northern Kane County, Illinois, situated mostly within Rutland Township. First settled by European immigrants in the 1820s following Native American conflicts in the region, the community of approximately 8,600 is zoned to Hampshire High School in Community Unit School District 300. Residents enjoy the twenty-acre Town Center Park, which hosts local sports teams, as well as nearby access to the Interstate 90 corridor.
