Glendale, WI

Glendale is a Milwaukee County city just north of Milwaukee, along the Milwaukee River corridor. The area's early land history includes Menominee cession east of the Milwaukee River through the Treaty of Washington, while modern Glendale grew as an inner-ring suburb with schools, shopping, and apartment communities. Cardinal Stritch University was long a major local institution, and the Glendale-River Hills school context remains part of the community's identity. Glendale feels urban-suburban, close to Milwaukee but greener and more residential in many pockets.
