Goessel, KS

Goessel is a city in Marion County, Kansas, United States. The 2020 census counted 556 residents. The city was named after Captain Kurt von Goessel who went down with his ship, the Elbe, in the English Channel after it was rammed. Goessel is located about 11 miles north of North Newton on the west side of K-15 highway. Goessel Threshing Days, located at Mennonite Heritage and Agricultural Museum.
