About Goldonna

Goldonna is a small, quiet village tucked away in northern Natchitoches Parish, home to around 400 residents. The community grew around the historic Drake's Salt Works in the 19th century before becoming a regular stop along the Louisiana and Arkansas Railway. Today, the former rail corridor has been converted into the L&A Trail, offering miles of scenic paths for walking, biking, and horseback riding between neighboring towns.
