Gordonsville, TN

Gordonsville is a Smith County town of 1,363 people at the 2020 census, part of the Nashville-area orbit but still shaped by Middle Tennessee farm country. It incorporated in 1909 and took its name from the Gordon family. U.S. 70 North and U.S. 141 run through the regional map, while the Nashville and Eastern Railroad gives the town another long-running connection. Town Hall, the fire station, and the main street sit close enough that civic business is easy to picture.

Farming remains part of Gordonsville's local rhythm, alongside county schools and the Gordonsville Tigers and Tigerettes.
