Gotham, WI

Gotham is a quiet, rural community in Richland County where Highway 60 meets U.S. 14, sitting right along the north bank of the Wisconsin River in the town of Buena Vista. The outdoors are a big part of everyday life here, thanks to Gotham Landing, which provides immediate access to the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway for boating, fishing, and exploring sandbars. The community was named after Captain Myron Gotham, a nineteenth-century mariner who lived here with his family. Today, daily routines and local gatherings center around a few familiar spots, including the Buena Vista Town Hall, the local post office, and the boat launch.
