About Goulds

Goulds is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in southern Miami-Dade County, between Miami and Homestead. It began as a homesteader settlement around 1900 and later became part of the agricultural and railroad landscape of South Florida. Today Goulds is mostly residential, served by Miami-Dade County Public Schools and tied to nearby Cutler Bay, Princeton, and Homestead. It feels like a working South Dade community, close to both suburban growth and the farm country that still edges the metro.
