Gramling, SC

Gramling is a small, quiet community set along Asheville Highway between Inman and Campobello in upstate South Carolina. With fewer than a hundred residents, it has the feel of a peaceful country crossroads. Newcomers moving to the area enjoy wide-open space, scenic foothill views, and an easy drive into Spartanburg or Greenville for shopping and work.

The area has deep roots in Spartanburg County's peach industry. In the 1920s, local farmer Ben Gramling planted some of the region's first major commercial orchards and shipped out the county's first rail car of peaches. That agricultural legacy continues to shape the landscape today, where rolling orchards, roadside farm stands, and historic landmarks like Gramling Methodist Church give the community a classic, relaxed Southern charm.
