About Granite Falls
Granite Falls is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, situated in the western foothills of the Cascade Range between the Pilchuck and Stillaguamish rivers. Named after a nearby waterfall, the community of approximately 4,700 historically served as a portage trail for Coast Salish tribes and is now a scenic gateway along the Mountain Loop Highway. Local public education is administered by the Granite Falls School District.
