About Grant-Valkaria

Grant-Valkaria is a rural town in southern Brevard County, Florida, situated along the Indian River Lagoon. Formed by the incorporation of two historic communities and named in part after Norse mythology's Valkyries, the community of approximately 4,900 hosts the annual Grant Seafood Festival, established in 1966. The town features the county-owned Habitat Golf Course and is served by the Brevard Public Schools system.
