Granville, PA

Set along the Juniata River in Mifflin County, Granville is a small rural community in central Pennsylvania. Settled in the early nineteenth century and named after nearby historic Fort Granville, the township grew around river trade, iron furnaces, and timber mills. Today, it remains a quiet place of roughly five hundred residents, known for its country roads, open space, and scenic views of the surrounding ridges.

Much of the area is covered in thick forest and rolling farmland, making outdoor recreation a natural part of daily life. The Juniata River offers plenty of spots for kayaking and fishing, while nearby Tuscarora State Forest and state game lands provide miles of trails for hiking and hunting.
