Green Tree is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, operating as a western suburb of Pittsburgh via the Fort Pitt Tunnel. Chartered in 1885 and named for a historic Sycamore tree that served as a stagecoach stop, the community of approximately 4,833 is served by the Keystone Oaks School District for public primary and secondary education.
