Grovetown, GA

Grovetown is a Columbia County city in the Augusta metropolitan area, with roots in the Georgia Railroad and an earlier community known as Belair. Its modern growth is closely tied to Fort Eisenhower, suburban expansion west of Augusta, and the Central Savannah River Area economy. Grovetown has added local parks such as Kiddie Park and Friendship Park, while neighborhoods, schools, and commuter routes carry most of the everyday experience. It is a fast-growing Augusta-area suburb with a small railroad-town backstory still visible underneath.
