Guerneville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County, California. Founded by the Guerne family in the 1850s as a logging settlement, the community of approximately 4,100 has evolved into a destination known for its natural environment, proximity to redwood forests and wine country, and the annual Russian River Pride Parade. A public beach along the Russian River draws visitors throughout the summer season.
