Hackleburg is a quiet, tight-knit small town in northern Marion County, set right where U.S. 43 meets Alabama 172. The town got its start in the 1800s as a stagecoach stop and rail hub named after the local hackberry trees. Today, it offers a peaceful rural lifestyle where neighbors know each other by name, while still keeping residents well-connected to nearby hubs like Hamilton, Haleyville, and the Shoals.
