About Haddon Heights

Haddon Heights is a historic residential borough in Camden County, New Jersey, located just south of Camden. Settled in 1699 by John Hinchman and incorporated in 1904, the community of approximately 7,500 is named after early colonist Elizabeth Haddon. The borough is a designated dry town where the sale of alcohol is prohibited, and local public education is provided by the Haddon Heights School District.
