About Hamilton Square

Hamilton Square is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Hamilton Township, in southern Mercer County about five miles east of Trenton. The Assunpink Creek runs through the broader area toward the Delaware River, giving it a Revolutionary-era landscape connection to nearby Trenton. Hamilton Township School District serves the community. Hamilton Square feels like an established Central Jersey suburb: residential neighborhoods, schools, shopping, local roads, and quick access to the state capital without having a separate municipal government of its own.
