Hampton, FL

Hampton is a quiet, rural community in Bradford County, tucked about six miles south of Starke in north central Florida. With fewer than 500 residents, it offers a peaceful, small-town atmosphere surrounded by farmland and open countryside. The town got its start in the mid-1800s as a railroad stop called Crossroads, eventually taking the name Hampton in the 1880s after a local farmer's young son.
