Hanapepe, HI

Hanapepe is an unincorporated community and census-designated place on the southern shore of the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Visited by the United States Exploring Expedition in 1840, the historic art community of approximately 2,638 is the headquarters of Lappert's Hawaii ice cream. Public education is served by the Hawaii Department of Education.
