Hanceville is a historic city located in southeastern Cullman County, Alabama. Established in 1832 and incorporated in 1879, the town has grown into a regional center for education and religion. The community is home to Wallace State Community College, serving thousands of students, as well as the beautiful Our Lady of the Angels Monastery. Hanceville also features recreational facilities, including one of the oldest paintball venues in the state.
