About Hansen

Tucked just east of Twin Falls, Hansen offers a peaceful, small-town pace surrounded by the open farmland of Idaho’s Magic Valley. The community got its start in the early 1900s as a supply stop along historic freight routes, eventually taking its name from early settler and merchant John Hansen. Today, it is a quiet spot with scenic views of the nearby South Hills, giving residents plenty of rural charm along with a quick, easy commute to Twin Falls for work, shopping, and dining.
