Happy Valley, NM

Happy Valley is a quiet rural pocket situated right on the western outskirts of Carlsbad. Originally settled as a small Pecos Valley farming community, it offers a relaxed, spread-out neighborhood feel with around 600 residents. You get plenty of open desert space and room to breathe, all while staying practically next door to one of southeastern New Mexico's busiest job centers.

Because it sits just a couple of miles outside town along State Road 524, everyday living is simple and convenient. Local students attend Carlsbad Municipal Schools, and residents make the short drive into the city for groceries, healthcare, dining, and work in the region's energy and mining industries. It provides a peaceful, country-style setting with Carlsbad's shops and services right down the road.
