Havana is a small, quiet community in deep South Texas, located in Hidalgo County just west of La Joya. With only a few hundred residents, it has a peaceful, rural atmosphere while keeping you within easy driving distance of the McAllen and Mission metro area for jobs, shopping, and dining. Families are part of the La Joya Independent School District, with local students attending Sam Fordyce Elementary, Lorenzo de Zavala Middle, and La Joya High School.
