Hebron, MD

Hebron is a quiet, small-town community of around 1,100 residents on Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore, located just minutes northwest of Salisbury. The town originally grew around the railroad in the late 1800s, connecting local farmers and merchants to the wider region. While you will spot a few historic homes and country churches scattered around the area, the old train depot in the center of town remains the most recognizable piece of local history.

For years, local volunteers have been working to restore the depot with plans to open it as a town museum. Day-to-day life here is quiet and family-friendly, with Westside Intermediate School located right in town and Salisbury nearby for major shopping, dining, and medical care. It offers a relaxed, rural atmosphere while keeping all the necessities within an easy drive.
