About Hensley

Hensley is a very small Pulaski County census-designated place southeast of Little Rock. It is part of the Little Rock-North Little Rock-Conway metro, but the local feel is rural and lightly settled rather than suburban. The community was founded in 1882 and named for William B. Hensley, with public schools handled by the Pulaski County Special School District. Hensley is best understood as a tiny crossroads community with access to the larger Little Rock region.
