About Hewitt

Hewitt is a McLennan County city just southwest of Waco, closely tied to the Waco metro while keeping a suburban, school-centered feel. The community grew after John A. Hewitt donated land for a townsite, and today much of the city is served by Midway Independent School District. Hewitt's appeal is practical more than showy: residential neighborhoods, access to McLennan Community College and Baylor-area services, and quick routes into Waco. It is the kind of Central Texas suburb where daily access matters most.
