Hickman, CA

Hickman is a quiet rural community tucked along the south bank of the Tuolumne River, about a mile and a half south of Waterford. With around 600 residents, it offers a peaceful slice of Central Valley country living surrounded by walnut orchards, cattle pastures, and open fields. The area grew around an early railroad stop in the late nineteenth century, and today it remains a laid-back enclave where folks enjoy spacious lots and scenic valley views.
