About Hickory Hills

Hickory Hills is a southwest Cook County city near Chicago's suburban belt along 95th Street. Its local history includes the Hickory Hills Country Club, founded in 1917 with an 18-hole course designed in the early golf-club era of the area. Today the city is mostly residential, with schools, small businesses, and easy access to neighboring suburbs such as Palos Hills, Bridgeview, and Chicago Ridge. A Lewis University satellite campus and local Catholic school add a few institutional markers to an otherwise practical suburban community.
