Hickory Hills, PA

Hickory Hills is a census-designated place in Foster Township, Luzerne County, southwest of White Haven. The community sits along the northern edge of PA 940, which connects it with White Haven to the northeast and Freeland to the southwest; Interstate 80 also runs through northern Foster Township. The 2010 census counted 562 residents. Those roads place Hickory Hills in the Pocono foothill country between small boroughs, wooded township roads, and the larger routes across Luzerne County. The surrounding hills give the neighborhood its name and setting.

Hazleton Area School District serves the community. Beyond that school connection, Hickory Hills is shaped by its location inside Foster Township instead of by an incorporated downtown.
