About Highlands

Highlands is a coastal borough in northern Monmouth County, New Jersey, situated on a high bluff overlooking Sandy Hook and the entrance to New York Harbor. Originally the eastern terminus of the historic Native American Minisink Trail, the community of approximately 4,518 is today a scenic commuter town for New York City. Public education is served by the Henry Hudson Regional School District.
