About Holland

Holland is a western Michigan city in Ottawa and Allegan counties, set near Lake Michigan on Lake Macatawa. It is best known for its Dutch heritage, which still shapes the local economy and culture through the Tulip Time Festival. Holland is also home to Hope College and Western Theological Seminary, both tied to the Reformed Church in America. The city combines lake access, college-town energy, and a very visible immigrant heritage, making it one of Michigan's more recognizable small cities.
