About Homer

Homer is a town and the county seat of Banks County, Georgia, situated in the northeastern part of the state. Founded in 1858 and named after pioneer citizen Homer Jackson, the historic community of approximately 1,892 famously set a Guinness World Record for its massive Easter Sunday egg hunt and is served by the Banks County School District.
