Honalo is a census-designated place in Hawaiʻi County, Hawaiʻi, situated on the western slopes of Mount Hualālai. Traversed by Hawaiʻi Route eleven and home to the historic 1921 Daifukuji Soto Zen Mission, the agricultural community of approximately 1,071 at the 2020 census is served by the Hawaiʻi Department of Education within the Konawaena school complex.
