Hudson, WI

Hudson is a St. Croix River city in western Wisconsin, directly across from Minnesota and close to the Twin Cities. Early settlers established the town near the mouth of the Willow River, and the riverfront still drives much of Hudson's appeal. Its historic downtown has restaurants, shops, hotels, and views over the St. Croix, while the Phipps Center for the Arts gives the city a regional cultural presence. Hudson feels scenic and active, with small-city Wisconsin character and metro access just across the river.
