Hudsonville is a city in Ottawa County, Michigan, operating as a suburb within the Grand Rapids metropolitan area. Platted in 1873 following the arrival of the Chicago and West Michigan Railway, the community of approximately 7,769 was named in honor of early settler Homer E. Hudson. The downtown area features Terra Square, a mixed-use community center that hosts a weekly farmers market.
