Hugo, MN

Hugo is a Washington County city about 18 miles north of downtown St. Paul, near White Bear Lake and the outer edge of the Twin Cities metro. It was originally settled by French Canadians and developed as a refueling stop along early transportation routes. Today Hugo has suburban neighborhoods, lakes, wetlands, and a growing commuter population, while still feeling more open than the inner suburbs.
