Hunter, OK

Hunter is a quiet, tight-knit rural community in Garfield County, home to roughly 150 people. Set about 16 miles northeast of Enid, the town got its start as a turn-of-the-century railroad stop and has stayed true to its agricultural roots ever since. Life here moves at an easy, peaceful pace, surrounded by wide-open farmland and big Oklahoma skies. It’s the kind of place where neighbors know one another and traffic is virtually nonexistent, all while keeping the grocery stores, hospitals, and amenities of Enid just a short drive down the highway.
