Huntington, VA

Huntington is a Fairfax County census-designated place just south of Alexandria. It borders Alexandria to the north, Belle Haven to the southeast, and Rose Hill to the west, placing it in one of Northern Virginia's closest-in suburban corridors. Huntington is best known locally for its Metro station and access to the lower Richmond Highway area, making commuting a major part of its identity. It is compact, urban-suburban, and shaped by apartments, townhomes, transit, and proximity to Old Town Alexandria and Washington, D.C.
