Huntington, WV

Huntington is a western West Virginia city at the confluence of the Ohio and Guyandotte rivers. Much of the land was once known as Holderby's Landing after farmer James Holderby, who purchased it in 1821, before the railroad city took shape. Today Huntington is the county seat of Cabell County, home to Marshall University, and connected to the Port of Huntington Tri-State. It feels like a true Ohio River city: industrial, collegiate, regional, and full of older neighborhoods, river history, and stubborn local pride.
