Ickesburg, PA

Tucked into the rolling farmland and wooded hills of Perry County, Ickesburg is a quiet rural community in Saville Township. Located where Route 17 and Route 74 meet, the area offers a relaxed country setting with Panther Creek winding through the valley before flowing toward the Juniata River. It is a place where wide-open fields, mountain views, and a slower pace of daily life shape the atmosphere.

The village has deep roots as a nineteenth-century stagecoach stop and farming hub for the surrounding valleys. Today, that agricultural heritage is still very much alive in the local family farms, older homesteads, and nearby state forest lands. Marked by the intersection of the Tuscarora Path and Veterans Way, Ickesburg offers a peaceful slice of central Pennsylvania countryside with plenty of room to spread out.
