Idabel, OK

Located in the piney woods of southeastern Oklahoma, Idabel serves as the county seat and practical hub of McCurtain County. Home to about 7,000 people, it offers a quiet, small-town pace just a short drive from both Texas and Arkansas. Forestry, ranching, and local services support the community, creating a grounded, hardworking atmosphere. Because Highways 70 and 259 meet right in town, residents can easily get around the region or head north to Broken Bow for dining and recreation.
